PRP - or platelet rich plasma is one of those mythological procedures in cosmetic surgery. Sometimes called the Vampire facial, this procedure takes your own blood, removes cells, and reinjects it into your face or scalp. It's supposed to grow hair, but a recent study showed that dirt cheap minoxidil was actually better than this multithousand dollar procedure in growing hair.
